Verdant Stratum fills a tall panel with large overlapping tropical leaves in lime, olive, sage and deep green. Defined veins and lighter leaf edges make the plant readable from across the room, while the upward arrangement emphasizes the height of the artwork.
The centered leaf group keeps the composition clean and botanical rather than garden-like. Layered greens create a strong natural color statement without the complexity of a mixed bouquet.
- Palette: Leaf green, olive, chartreuse, sage, cream and deep forest accents
- Format: Tall botanical composition with large overlapping tropical leaves
- Works well with: Living rooms, offices, entryways and reading corners with wood, stone or other natural finishes
The Craft & Materials
The Craft & Materials
Made by hand, for your space.
Each Lura Studio artwork is painted and textured by hand to order. Working from a blank canvas, the artist builds the composition layer by layer, shaping the color, brushwork and relief for each piece rather than printing the design onto the surface.
Because every piece is handmade, yours may show small variations in tone, texture and detail. These differences are a natural part of the process and give each artwork its own character.
Framing Explained
Framing Explained
Elevate your art with our signature Floating Frames.
Unlike traditional frames that cover the edge of the painting, our L-Style Floating Frames create a sophisticated gap between the canvas and the frame. This gives the illusion that the artwork is "floating" inside, adding depth and shadow.
- Option 1: Rolled Canvas: The artwork ships in a tube. You will need to stretch and frame it locally.
- Option 2: Stretched (Ready to Hang): Gallery-wrapped over pine wood bars. Minimalist and clean.
- Option 3: Gold Floating Frame (Recommended): The ultimate gallery look. A brushed gold finish that perfectly complements the warm tones of the texture. Arrives ready to hang.

Care Guide
Care Guide
Built to last a lifetime.
- Dusting: Gently dust with a soft, dry brush or a feather duster. The texture is durable, but be gentle with the raised peaks.
- No Liquids: Never use water, glass cleaner, or damp cloths on the canvas surface.
- Placement: Avoid hanging in direct sunlight for prolonged periods or in high-humidity areas (like bathrooms) to preserve the archival quality.

Frankly, I always approach purchasing textured art online with a degree of skepticism. Photography often flattens the relief, making it impossible to gauge the true depth of the work. However, the moment Verdant Strata arrived and was unboxed, my expectations were not just met—they were shattered.
First, I must commend the logistics and packaging. I have acquired pieces from established galleries that were less secure; this arrived in what I can only describe as 'bombproof' protection. That attention to detail immediately established a high level of trust.
As for the piece itself, it possesses a 'silent thunder.' The physical presence of the impasto and plaster is architectural. I hung it in my study where the light shifts throughout the day, and that is where the magic lies. In the soft morning light, the ridges are velvety and subtle; but under the raking light of the afternoon, the relief throws dramatic shadows that reveal endless, mesmerizing micro-details. It is not a static image; it is a living entity that breathes with the room.
This is not merely decor; it is a museum-quality statement piece. It commands the space with an elegant authority. for those hesitating on whether the reality matches the digital image: I assure you, the reality is far superior.
